This policy explains how our website uses cookies and similar technologies.
Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device. They are often used to make websites work, or to collect information about how people use them. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, work in much the same way.
We do not use cookies to track you. Our website does not use analytics, advertising or social media tracking cookies. Apart from the Google Map on our Contact page (see below), it does not set any cookies when you visit and browse our pages.
The only thing our website stores on your device is a small, temporary note made by WordPress to check how your browser displays emoji characters. It is held in your browser’s session storage, contains no personal information and is cleared when you close your browser.
If you are a member of our staff who logs in to manage the website, WordPress sets cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you securely logged in. These are not used for ordinary visitors.
Our Contact page shows a map provided by Google Maps. When the page loads, Google may collect information such as your IP address and set its own cookies. Google’s use of this information is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
Our website links to our pages on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, and to the Road Haulage Association. These sites are not loaded on our pages; if you follow a link, the site you visit may set its own cookies under its own policy.
You can choose to block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Because our website does not rely on cookies, blocking them will not affect how it works.
If we change how our website uses cookies, we will update this policy, and we will ask for your consent before using any cookies that are not strictly necessary. If you have any questions, please contact us: D & J Campbell Ltd, 1 Black Crofts, North Connel, Argyll, PA37 1QX · [email protected] · 01631 710882.
For details of how we handle personal information, please see our Privacy Policy.
